June 21, 2020 Windows of Westminster-3 Rev. Dr. Twining F. Campbell
In our service today, we are receiving a new member! Dawn Smith will answer the questions of membership on camera. Then Nina Paddock, our clerk of Session, asks the congregational question. The sanctuary is empty but when she finishes please say, “WE DO!” We may be online but we are ONE and we still get to support this newest member of the household of God at Westminster. Welcome Dawn!
Dawn Smith, continues her series of presentations on the history of Westminster — today Dawn will be talking about our Rose windows..
Imre Szilas begins the service with “Kyrie” by Couperin and the Postlude is with “Fanfare Sortie” by Lefeburé-Wély. The anthem,“O God, Thou Faithful God” was written byBach but arranged as a jazz piece by Imre.
Nina Paddock leads us in prayer then reads the Scripture for us from Micha 6:3-5 about Moses and Miriam.
Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell continues our series, Windows of Westminster, as we reflect on the Miriam and Moses windows. We often forget that the exodus was a family affair with Moses, Miriam and Aaron.
