Following the Westminster Chimes Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell leads the congregation in the prayer of illumination and reads the scripture lesson: Luke 1:26-38.

The congregation joins in singing the carol “To A Maid Engaged to Joseph.”

Irene Gregorio plays the anthem Make Us An Offering by Randy Hayes.

Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell finishes the series, The Grandmothers of Jesus, by preaching on the differences and similarities of Bathsheba and Mary and how God uses all of our experiences, good and bad, in his plans and closes the service with the Benediction.

The service concludes with everyone singing, “Gentle Mary Laid Her Child.”
