Posted on December 31, 2018 @ 1:50 pm

The Family Service is a late afternoon service specifically designed for younger children.

This service begins with the Childrens Choir (with members Jeremiah Gibson, Fletcher Paddock, Jamari Fernandez, Jente Fernandez) singing Angels We Have Heard on High with solos by Braden Fung and Ian Paddock directed and accompanied by Dr. Imre Szilas.

Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell leads the congregation in prayer.

After the Lighting of the Christ Candle the Children’s Choir sings Jesus, Jesus accompanied by the Westminster Trio
(Imre Szilas – piano, Bowie Bossendorfer – drums, Twining Campbell – bass guitar).

Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell reads the birth of Jesus from Luke 2:1-20 and then reads the story, Santa’s Favorite Story.

The Congregation gathers around the front of the church to sing carols and the Prayer for Christmas.

The service closes with “March of the Nut Cracker” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky played by our organist Dr. Imre Szilas.
