Here is the link for our worship service this week:
Rev Dr. Martha Campbell welcomes everyone and then calls us all to worship.
After the Westminster Chimes Dr. Imre Szilas plays one of his own compositions for the Prelude: “Introit and Hymn” that leads directly into the congregational hymn: “Called As Partners in Christ’s Service.”
Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell shares the prayer concerns this week then leads the Prayers of the People and the Lord’s Prayer. Then, after a musical interlude, we all say The Affirmation of Faith – The Church Has Left the Building.
Dr. Imre Szilas plays the morning anthem: “Trumpet Tune” by Leroy Anderson, on the Westminster pipe organ. At the conclusion Norm Haynes leads us in the Prayer of Illumination then reads the lesson from Hebrews 7:18-28.
Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell presents the morning Message for our series: Hope in the Book of Hebrews emphasizing that Jesus is our hope and the source of a better covenant for us.
The service closes with the Charge and Benediction and the Postlude, “Fugue in G minor” by J.S. Bach, played by Dr. Imre Szilas.
Our services are filmed by Robert Smith and are also available on our Facebook and YouTube Channel (Westminster Presbyterian Church, Pasadena, CA)
