Following the welcome, from Mountain View Cemetery (where much of the service was filmed by Robert Smith), Imre Szilas opens the service with, “Pax Vobiscum,” byRichard Purvis.
The Offertory, “My Shepherd Shall Supply My Need,” is based on an old American Folk Melody and features Robert Smith playing one of the keyboards.
Then Helen Darsie reads the scripture lesson 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.
This is our sixth sermon in the series: Making All Things New and Twining Campbell highlights the importance of Memorial Day and our need to remember what God has done for us in Jesus Christ.
The service closes with Imre Szilas playing, “Patriotic Postlude” by Gordon Young.
