Palm Sunday Worship
Sunday April, 9, 2017 was the last Sunday in Lent and is always Palm Sunday. In the service our children first handed out palms as Pastor Martha Campbell read Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem from Matthew 21:1-11. After palms were handed out the children came forward as a Choir and led us in a medley of praise. The service concluded with a reading of Jesus’ Passion from the Gospel of Mark.
In this recording are:
The Prelude played by Dr. Imre Szilas, Organist:
The Palms by Jean Baptiste Fauré
Sermon by Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell: Practicing Mercy – Part 6.
This sermon is final in our Practicing Mercy series and sums up how we deal with people who irritate us or are different from us based on Matthew 21: 23-27.
The Postlude played by Dr. Imre Szilas, Organist:
Sinfonia to Cantata No. 29 by J.S. Bach.
