Sunday April, 16, 2017 was Easter Day the most joyful day in the Christian year.  Our Children sang an anthem: As the Green Blade Rises | Yahweh featuring Riley Paddock as soloist.  (This anthem may be viewed on our Facebook page at: www. Facebook.com/Westminster Presbyterian Church, Pasadena, CA.)

In this recording are:

The Fanfare and Processional played by Dr. Imre Szilas, Organist, and Zak Graff,  trumpet, finished by the congregation singing:
Jesus Christ Is Risen Today!

Sermon by Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell.

This sermon is based on John 20:1-18 and explores how Mary Magdalene learned to ask the right question about Jesus.  As she looked in the empty tomb an angel asked her, “Whom are you looking for?”  But even then she didn’t recognize Jesus until he called her by name.  Are we being invited to come and see the new things God is doing in our lives and in our world?  Is Jesus calling your name?

The Postlude played by Dr. Imre Szilas, Organist:
